AIM idle??

    AIM is there a way on the iPod touch to go idle? Any help would be great thanks.

    Set it to Away and close the app?

    Like press the home key after u set the app on away and this works?

    yes.
    Well it should stay signed on.
    but i think you have to set it for how long you want to stay signed on after you close the app.

    You dont need to be away.

    You just press the home button like you would to close any other app, then your IM's while come up in a notification (push) box in the center of the screen.

    You'll then have the option to ignore the IM, or go back into the app and reply back.

    BUT... You WILL need to be on version 3.0+ of the AIM app for push to be enabled.
    AND you'll need to be running 3.0+ firmware on your device.

    I am on the 4th version will this work? Thanks I've set the time for 30 minutes should I go idle when signed on and press the home key and still do other things.
