For those who use the aim messenger app, is there any way you can exit the app and still have aim running so that you can still receive instant messages? I would like to chat while surfing safari but I can't. Is there going to be a fix for this or is there some way around it?

well I use the AIM app and you can recieve offline messages so when you open AIM again you will still have what you would have if you kept it running, however there is no way as of yet to keep AIM running.

I use fring, on there, you can go out of the app and still get messages. It makes the normal sound when you receive an IM and it has the red circle with numbers on it like the mail and app store apps sometimes have. Fring lets you sign on many different IM platform accounts at one time. For example, I sign on my MSN, Skype, AIM, and SIP accounts at the same time. I was really happy when I upgraded to Fring. It's free

I still get logged out when I use that.

And when I click on the app again, it reconnects just like AIM app.

Where? I don't see it. When I click on the Mail app It goes to "mailboxes" and I can see my inbox, drafts, sent, trash, and my folders. I don't see a sign out or log out.
