Hi. im very new on this stuff. so i dont know anything. and i really really need you guys to help me out (geez. u guys are soo way ahead of everything)

i have ipod touch (old one. i havnt bought the jan. update) with 1.1.4 firmware.
in order to jailbreak it, (i need the easiest way, since im a newbie) i have to downgrade it to 1.1.1 first, and go to jailbreakme.com on my safari's iTouch to jailbreak it, right?

and after it's done, what do i have to do next? (i read abt bsd subsytem, and all that. what is that?)
can i start installing apps now? or i should install something to get it going?

thanks guys. sorry if my questions are lame.

    easiest way: http://download.ziphone.org/

download the one for you os... plug your iTouch into your computer and run the program. 30 seconds later... you're done.

No need to do all the jailbreaks (1.1.1 ad so on)... you can jailbreak straight from 1.1.4

Actually that is only the beginning! There is a bit more to be done after the jailbreak if you want it to work properly.

You don't need a Summerboard fix, but you do need BSD Subsystem!

I'm sure, you should have used a better source for a jailbreak method.

Look in the installer after you add install community sources and refresh and you will see it.
