after jailbreaking..help

    hey!

    Im not very experienced in jailbreaking...but i succeeded in doing it.

    the only problem i have is Cydia/ Installer

    I dont eally understand what theyre used for. I mean i don't know how to get games from them...

    p.s. im not rlly good with programs lol

    so if anyone can help me out with cydia/ installer and how to get apps and stuff...please let me know. Im C O N F U S E D lol

    lol dont mind installer to much, its not that usefull really.
    cydia is what you want, cydia is like an appstore. most of it is free
    they just recently opened a cydia appstore, where you buy things. but most
    of the things are free. you just dwnload things and apply to your ipod like themes, games,
    tools and all that.

    lol sorry if i put it in the wrong section lol...wasnt sure where to put it...

    ok so cydia is where you download games and stuff...but where in cydia?

    you won't find much aside from macman and gpsphone, NES, and the othe emulators though

    Just go to the Sections Tab to browse through the sources you have or go to the Search tab if your looking for something specific.

    Try Youtube or Google to find out more about Cydia and where to get sources, games, apps, ect.

    alright..thx for the help buttttt.. i still have 1 more question:

    what are sources?

    make that 2 questions:

    how come some of the things i download dont download? is it because they're used for the iphone and not for the 2ndG ipod touch?

    ooo its because i didint know u had to rebboot ur ipod to use winterboard...alright so that works now

    the only thing i dont understand is the sources? what are they used for?

    alright i just went into the inatller and i downloaded this thing called ''kate'' in the most popular section...i did this randomly to see if it does somehting.

    after it installed...there was no icon on my ipod or anything

    sources are just places it'll look for apps and other such things. you can add more sources pretty easily first search for "steffwiz" and install it, then search and find "allsources" and install that
