After jailbreak, stock apps and stuff missing...

    Ok, after I jailbroke my 2g, my photo launcher is missing, text editor is missing, and calculator is all missing. I don't know how to get them back or what to do.

    Hold on a minute.

    There is a native text editor?!?!?!

    Seriously, try using poof and see if they are just hidden. (I use the one from bossprefs that I got from Cydia)

    install the app categories, add them to a folder then delete it from a folder and see if they pop back up otherwise try and using poof

    Add them to a folder? They don't even show, ill try the bossprefs.

    u can add them to a folder because categories looks through ALL the files that are apps in the ipod

    unless they are deleted completely download quickgold from cydia and u can find them

    boo, do you not understand, I have no categories, and the apps are physically gone. Still trying the other methods you guys suggested.

    Ok, i used bossprefs, it was just that all my apps were hidden for some reason.
