How do I get my music and apps back?

I clicked restore to get it to restore to most recent sync, then I get a USB error message and a black screen. Am I not supposed to do that?

Well are you selecting from a backup? Because it should back it up, or you could just resync your music if it's just for the music/aps.

Not gonna work. You need to re-apply the patch and possibly do the entire process again

I backed up my iPod and i only got back user settings dont know how to backup the apps (if you dont have your music, videos etc on your computer you could use other programs similar to itunes to take them off your iPod since u cant do so in itunes and save them to your computer, doesnt work for apps)

You can't restore from an original firmware backup to a patched firmware. Just start new.

if it restores from the backup there will be an error and you will need to rejailbreak, just re-sync all the stuff.
