hey, it is available to download from installer. Just search for extended preferences.

It basicly adds some new functions and tweaks to the Settings app. It lets you change the Carrier Text, the thing that either says AT&T or ipod on your ipod. It also gives you just little things that you can customize and tweak your ipod with,

    Hope this helped

It combines a whole bunch of little utilities into your Preferences.

For example, as thehitman said, change your carrier text. Also, you can make your battery be in numbers instead of an icon, and wifi strength in percent as well. Also, it has invisible mode.

I have only tried it on 1.1.4 and it works fine.

Openrepo.org's repo itself is down, although the site is still up. It has been for a while. Sorry forgot to check if it was back.
