Adobe Photoshop Problems

    Hey guys my uncle has a kit of Adobe products such as indesign, golive, illustrator, photoshop etc.

    But what im really focused on is the Adobe Photoshop now its a really old version.. were talking version 7.0.1 and i installed it but it doesnt work???

    Is there a way i can make it work?? Is it too old for my machine?? any help?

    Just checked wikipedia and unfortunately, it maybe a bit old.
    Version 7 is the first version to support OS X, so there will probably be incompatibility issues.

    First off, are you on a PowerPC Mac? Or using an Intel (and using Rosetta)?

    Umm im not really sure but i think im on an intel mac.. but i dont know what rosetta is??

    Just download the trial of CS3 from adobe.com and "don't" hack it like I didn't

    but isnt it like a 30 day trial thing and then you have a choice to pay after that 30 days??

    ^yeah, that's why you don't hack/crack it after the 30 days

    It's piss easy to crack/hack photoshop. Atleast 5 members here have asked me about it and how to do it lol!

    If you're on an Intel mac, then you should be able to right click on it, get info and select "Rosetta"...or something like that (and then try run it). Haha sorry I can't be of more help, I've only ever had one Mac and it's my iBook (PowerPC so no rosetta).

    Have you considered trying a program called Pixelmator? Here's the link: http://www.pixelmator.com/

    It's pretty similar to Photoshop (I know, I've got both) but only costs £30, so it's very affordable.

    What do you guys all think of GIMP??

    Better than photoshop?? on Par??
