I'm having that problem with installer where I can't install any new programs, so I went to the developer's website and downloaded Scrabble and Text Twist and SSH'd them onto my iTouch.

I did try and search this, and the only response I found said that the permissions needed to be 755, which they are. However, as soon as I open these programs (only these ones, all others work fine), the program almost immediately shuts down and brings me back to the home screen.

Never SSH'd a program onto my pod until now..any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, just to make sure make sure yoe 755 permission is set to the folder ***.app were *** is whatever app you having trouble with. Make sure it applies those permissions to the app folder as well as all files and folders contained in it. Also if this doesnt work you may need to set that on some other folders. Please tell me what jailbreak you uses and what ipod firmware you are on.

Hmm..yeah, the folders for Scrabble.app and TextTwist.app are set to 755, as well as all of the subfolders and files within those.

I'm on 1.1.1 jailbroken through 'jailbreakme.'

    :/

I just wanna play with words.
