Hello again! I answered to topic about this but no-one told me, how to get ad hoc workin. Solution to Safari thing was put on DNS same as router, but in ad hoc there is no router, so how to make this work. I can see wifi and use it in my iPod 2g untethered jailbroken.

So, I have an ad hoc network, and iPod finds it and connects it and everythings fine until I actually try to use it. It doesnt connect. I found topic, where said that it helps when you put manually same to DNS that is in router (in preferences). But ad hoc doesnt have router so what do I do?

    Sorry my english

Are you trying to use safari on your iPod through an ad-hoc network? If that's the case I don't think you can do that.
As for your english, don't be sorry because half of the people who actually speak english as a 1st language can't properly speak/type/write.

Just out of curiosity, why would you want to use the internet on the iPod if you have to be connected to the computer?

    This is possible, actually.

My dad bought a program for his phone (WMWifiRouter) and it creates an ad-hoc network for devices (such as my iPod) to connect to and use his phone's data plan. It IS possible, but I do not have the answer.

Try looking around the setting wherever you're setting it up. There might be DNS somewhere.

Apparently I'm still an idiot... I was thinking of establishing an internet connection between the iPod and the computer via USB. Sorry for wasting your time.
