Accidently connect jailbroken 2nd gen to new itunes version help!!

    Accidently connect jailbroken touch to computer with latest itunes on it. touch will no longer be recognized by any itunes version but works fine .. just can't sync ... doesnt show up in the itunes list and freezed everytime i connect it and run itunes.

    Downgrade itunes, try again

    i've downgraded and i tihnk the new itunes put something on the device. it plugs in fine it works fine .. except whenever i load any itunes version it freezes .. any thoughts .. i am fine with completely wiping and starting over just dont know how. not sure how to get into DFU mode again.

    @DarkWrath, your right.

    Put it in DFU Mode and Restore with the newest iTunes (8.2.1 I believe) and you'll be good to go.

    redsn0w 0.8 for the jailbreak.

    Also, download AptBackup from Cydia and you can backup regular apps.
