    Hello,

My friend accidentally entered recovery mode when doing a restart on their iPhone 3G.
How can we reboot into normal mode? I tried iLiberty and Ziphone and both of them don't recognize the iPhone. iTunes recognizes the iPhone but requires a restore. I don't want to lose all the data on it and restore..

    What should I do?

    Thanks,
    Xandu.

    Hmm...

Turn it off by holding both buttons for 10 seconds, and try to turn it on.

    Have you tried Forced Reboot?

Or is that what you did in the first place to make your phone like that?
