. The folder I deleted was the /Applications symlink, NOT the actual folder. I dont know where it redirects and I am on mac so I cannot use putty. If someone could post that folder (the symlink w/o all the apps inside) that would be great. It would even help if you told me how to recreate one on a mac. Please Help!

If you deleted it then you are most likely not going to get it back. You can try to re-sync your apps and if that does not work then restore and your app folder will be back.

Im very sure that there is a way to remake it or redownload it. i know people have done that with the /var folder when they deleted it, but I just need a copy of it, or where it redirects to.

I've done this before... Oh my, wasn't fun. Only thing to do is restore re-jailbreak.

ive figured out where the redirect goes: /private/var/stash/Applications.XNunYR
    if someone can place This:
    ln -s /private/var/stash/Applications.XNunYR Applications
into Putty and post the folder that comes out, id appreciate it. or you could tell me how to use this code to create a folder on a mac.

im not really sure how to use terminal or the specific location that the Applications folder symlink leads to. if someone could just do a get info on the applications folder in the / directory while using SSH and tell me how to make one in terminal, i would be grateful.

You don't need the directory. Type this in terminal:

    su root

    alpine

    ln -s /private/var/stash/App* /

    mv -R /App* /Applications

i fixed the issue by creating a symlink in terminal to the apps folder located in private/var/stash/Applicaions.XXXXX. Then i removed one app, so it would reload the whole Apps folder upon restart and update it, noticing one was gone. Works now. Thanks for the help everyone
