Ever since I've jailbroken my iPhone 2G, 2.2.1 with quickpwn, i get this message popping up every couple of seconds. It's draining my battery and I can't get rid of it.

"This accessory is not made to work with iPhone. Would you like to turn on Airplane Mode to reduce audio interference? You will not be able to make or receive calls."

I've done several methods of troubleshooting:
-Fix User Dir Permissions via BossPref
    -Respring
    -Reboot
-Turned airplane mode on then restart.

Does anyone know what's going on? I don't want to backup my stuff and lose everything...

    Thanks,
    Alan

    Do you really think so?

I'll wait until other people come in. I know I can't be the first person to receive this error....

It has occurred to me several times.

I solved it by cleaning the 30 PIN connector. There may be something stuck in there. Give it a good cleaning and see if it happens again.

If it still happens then try a restore to Apple's 2.2.1 firmware.
