I wrote a webapp using '''lighttpd''' for the iPhone and it used the shell_exec() comand in the .php file and it worked on my iPhone using the server. The comand accessed a file in /var/mobile/vids (I added it ) and ran a command on it but now that it's on a server online I can't get it to work , any way to fix this

Well seeing as PHP is a server side script. Maybe it is trying to find that file on the server, not the phone?

As to fixing it, I'm not too familiar with PHP but maybe that helps you with ideas...
