I want to move and add files to ubuntu, from my windows machine.

    Current setup:
I have my Ubuntu box that I use as a media center (wif boxee) I want to be able to add files (apps, music, dvd rips) to ubuntu from windows.

I don't need to see the ubuntu desktop or anything, just the file directorys.

Any ideas? I thougt I could SSH but I don't really know how

You can't go from Windows to Ubuntu (due to the suckage of NFTS) but you should be able to SSH onto Windows from Ubuntu. You should actually be able to set it up with my iPod to Ubuntu guide, but just replace the Host Name with your Computer IP, User Name with your username for your computer, and Password with the computer's password.

But... You can just move the files from the SSH browser to your desktop from Ubuntu.

I really don't think that Windows supports Ext3 file system... Which means Ubuntu --> Windows, not Windows --> Ubuntu. Like I said, check my signature for a guide.

Pull files from Ubuntu to Windows, using RDP, SSH or any of a thousand means.

Or just put all of your crap on a external hard drive and plug it into the Ubuntu machine.
