Is there a way to temperarily calibrate the acceleromiter on the iPod touch?

For games like labrinth, it is anoying when you are in the car.

Most games have the ability to calibrate by the angle you're holding the iPod. So if you're holding it in an angled position it'll set it to the default.

Then again, I didn't really understand your question.
Perhaps accelerometer games aren't really appropriate for bumpy car rides...

yeah use it calibrate it in the game's options.

it will always be glitchy and shaky in a car because when someone turns, the acceleromter will register the G-Force,
e.g. : when your normal, a person registers 1G, but in a turning car, they register something like 1.4G or something.
