I suppose it's not a HUGE deal (just not tap tap high scores

But does anybody know how to fix this? I've read other threads, but there is no clear answer. Could be software, could be hardware, restore, apple store, bla bla bla. I just got this ipod, jailbroke it and was all happy until I realized this.

Get respring off of cydia, then do that. If it doesn't work, reset, restore, repair.

I've already tried to do everything I could without restoring. And I won't try that until a 4.0 jailbreak is released, as I have no shsh blobs.

Try to restore your iPod if all else fails.

And my answer to you sig about iPhone is that you wouldn't call a iPod Nano a iNano or iClassic or iVideo it's just not the native name for those devices. iPod defines the main usage of that device which is essentially to some point listening to music, while you can do that on the iPhone its not what the product sells upon.

I restored to 4.0 (as all I do is play tap tap anyway). And its still broken (and the accelerometer isn't portrait locked). I just have to send it to apple or go to an apple store...which sucks either way. There goes my antiglare.

And is it not the main selling point that the ipod touch is that its a touch screen? So iTouch seems completely relavant.

Take it to an apple store and see what they say first.

And this is piggy backing off intense about your sig but I made a thread about this and actually the "i" in iPhone stands for internet

Why do apple stores have to be so far away. Man this is a hassle.

Forget apple store. I called them and I'm going to send it tomorrow. Good news is maybe by the time I get my replacement a 4.0 untethered jailbreak will be out. (doubt it though, but don't really care). Sure, link up.
