Well, it seems that my iPod froze the other day. So, I restarted it and now the accelerometer is totally dead. Anyone know what's up? I tried restarting it again a few times, but it still doesn't work.

All i can suggest is to restore first maybe to a backup if that doesn't work then to set up as a new ipod.

What was the last thing you did with it/did to it?

    Also: Boxxy = Queen.

Gahh, I really don't want to have to restore.
I was just watching a video, and it froze on me.

    Mmm, boxxy.

Do you still have a warranty on it?

Yes, one year. The accelerometer seemed a little slow from the get go, and when we received the package in the mail, it was totally smashed. I suspect that might've affected the accelerometer, but I don't know for sure.

My suggestion is to restore and if it doesn't work after that then your gonna have to call up Apple

    Boxxy is win. <3
And, yes, try restoring as a new iPod. If not, as everyone said, call where ever you bought it.

Miraculously the accelerometer just happened to come back on. I was listening to some Enter Shikari with a friend, headbanging and whatnot. The cover flow popped up and I cried tears of joy.
