The minimum requirements on the iTunes download page

And seriously, I doubt anything would run on a computer with those specs

If you don't meet the minimum requirements, then why try?

I'd be surprised if you could get anything newer than windows 98 running on that dinosaur! :O And I doubt that iTunes will even be compatible with such an old version of windows.

Sorry, but it ain't gonna happen... :/

Still doubt it would run with a 133MHz processor, and 160MB of RAM though.

Windows XP runs on 333 Mhz with 160mb of ram (but NOT 133mhz which would be equal to a Pentium i586 CPU

iTunes won't run. Too less RAM if started on XP. And if you don't use XP then no way to get it working^^

Music playback would also lag. Not nice to use at all! But why don't buy a newer PC? They are SO cheap nowadays...and an usual office PC would be 100x better than your current rig

It's actually 333Mhz. And it runs Win. 98. However, i downloaded a kernel that lets you put Xp programs on 98. And i think that if i don't use cover flow and things like that, I'll be fine

i use a computer with 660Mhz n 512MB RAM PIII. iTunes 9.2 runs ok. loading times n switching to iPod tab tabs loading takes a bit time. i'm kinda used to it. not slow feel or laggy at all. CoverFlow, they don't even appear on mine since forever since using iTunes 8.2. as far i know they need gfx acceleration or something. coverlow appears as blank on mine. n the coverflow history n quick links on safari, that option doesnot even appear!

well i'll be getting a new PC in about a months time, it will hell lot faster than this one for sure
