Hi there, just got my touch today (2g 32Gb). Slight success, I've sync'd songs (had a 1st gen nano), put some photos on and even downloaded some free games from ITunes.
I'm struggling with trying to put a TV Programme on my touch. I've downloaded the programme to my PC, but I can't seem to get it to show in ITunes to sync.
Apologies if this is the incorrect forum, I've searched and not found a great deal of help so far. Is there somewhere better I should be looking - Touch for Dummies perhaps.
    thanks

What exactly are you trying to sync?

You didn't download the hi-def version did you? Or did you even download from iTunes?

Thanks, trying to sync a tv prog, downloaded to a .wmv file on my pc. But I don't know how to get this to show up in ITunes so I can put it on the Ipod.
Apologies for my ignorance, I realise there could be a better place for me to look.
    appreciate the help.

You know when I posted this I put absolute beginner as the title? Re-encode, is that change the suffix from .wmv to something else?

You have to encode it to mp4, just renaming it a different extension will not do the trick. I personaly use cucusoft to convert and it works great. After your file has been encoded you simply drag it into itunes movies and the next time you sync it will be installed.

You have to convert it to mp4 for iTunes to add it and sync to your iPod.

I just got an ipod touch 2g and I was wondering if it is possible to play the movie episodes from fox.com. I like to watch 24 and was wondering if it is possible to watch it on the ipod. If so, how?
