Absinthe not detecting iPad

Every time I plug my iPad in, the jailbreak button stays grayed out like nothing is connected. iTunes, redsn0w, you name it, everything else detects it. What could the issue be?

I have downloaded from a different site and neither my ipad or iphone are detected. I'm on 10.7.2

Should I try Cinject?

I was having the same exact problem, and what worked for me was rebooting my mac in safemode, and relaunching absinthe.

After that, it detected both my iPad and iPhone.

Did you run Absinthe in safe ode or did you reboot again and run it in "normal mode"?
