Yeah, I didn't have to restore my iPad 2, but I just did anyways to have it up to speed and to get rid of that 7 GB "Other".

I gave up on absinthe 2.0.1 after it crashed 12 times. I tryed everything suggested to no avail. I then used the most recent Redsn0w to jailbreak my 3GS. Since redsn0w makes iBooks crash, as soon as sn0wbreeze v2.9.4 was released, I used it and everything worked the first time out and iBooks still works. I don’t know if absinthe affects iBooks on iPhones but on the other hand absinthe 2.0.1 worked perfectly the first time on my iPad 2 after a complete restore.

That actually happens here too. The packages did show up but if I attempt to install more then 1 item at a time, it gives a server issue of some sort.

does anyone know what pcre is in Cydia..when I install Cydia for the first time it tells me I need to upgrade it..Im thinking this could be causing my issues with syncing my apps, I install my apps just fine on my laptop with my jailbroken iPad, but on my PC with my iPod and that pcre installed(Which I thought was something I needed so I installed it) the apps wont install or just go super slow, could that be the issue. I have no idea what this pcre thing even is

It's nothing you need to worry about, just update it.

yeah I did and it seems to be Ok. Looks like I was worrying over nothing. I think the issue with my iPod is something to do with the USB cable which is strange because I am using the same USB cable on my laptop and i ts fine, so maybe its an issue with my desktop USB cable. Will try again later and see if it works

I have a problem. I jailbroke, didn't see the Cydia icon, and jailbroke again and got the "Recover Completed." thing. So it said unplug my device and plug it back in, so I did. Same message. iPod touch 4G 5.1.1 Absinthe 2.0.1 Windows XP Professional 32-Bit.
