Like the title says, I'm about to pull the trigger on the 3.0 firmware upgrade. I jailbroke my 1st gen Touch right after I bought it and haven't done any firmware upgrades since. I've done the searches and have (or can get) the info needed to do the 3.0 jailbreak, but can't find how to save the notes on my iPod. I'm sure it's something simple, but haven't been able to find out how.

First off, I'd wait till 3.1 and a stable jailbreak to upgrade. Secondly, simply going into iTunes and backing up your iPod should backup everything like settings, notes, ect.

I guess waiting for 3.1 will save me $10. I've waited this long, I can wait a little longer...

I know, I have so many different interests that it's hard to keep up with all of them, so occasionally something goes unattended, especially when it's working well. I've been seeing more and more apps that look interesting, so I finally decided it was time to look into upgrading. Now that I've decided to do it, it looks like I ought to wait for 3.1 (figures

). I will probably go ahead and download 3.1 as soon as it's available, then jailbreak it when a stable jailbreak is available. On top of that, when I get mine done, I get to do it again to my wife's!
