    Hello everyone!

First of all, - yes, I've done quite some research about it but I am just confused by all the different opinions.

I've bought myself a iPod Touch 3G 32GB (MC thingy) a week ago and I've been heavily considering to jailbreak it. The only thing that holds me back is the warranty issue.
Does Apple notice if an iPod is jailbroken and is there any way to make it impossible for them to notice it? Have you guys had any experiences regarding this?

I am sorry if this has been asked a thousand times, but I am only 16 and 280€ is quite some money for me and as I stated before, I am just totally confused. :/

P.S: If I decided to JB it these would be my steps:
    -Run iTunes (newest version)
-Connect my iPod Touch (3.1.3 FW)
    -Run Spirit and JB it

Could anyone confirm if these steps would be correct? And does it matter if my iPod Touch is one of those "MC" versions?

Thank you very much for helping me in advance!

    Kind regards,
    Nico.

EDIT: Could someone give me a quick explanation what SHSH is and what it is good for? Once again, thank you very very much!

Apple can notice it. Through Files, tweaks, themes,ect...

And your steps are correct. And by run iTunes you mean sync? Then close it.

Your MC model will be untethered and it doesn't matter what iPod you have.

Once you restore, apple wont know you've done anything to it. Your warrenty will be intact on.

Unless you restored from a backup.

Oh, sweet. Untethered is the better option which means the JB stays even if I turn it off, right?
So when I have a jailbroken iPod and I want to send it back to apple, I will just connect it to iTunes and restore it and they normally shouldn't notice it if I don't get unlucky?
Could someone also help me about the SHSH thingy?

Thanks for your quick answers guys!

Could anyone just give me a quick overview what SHSH is and why it is necessary? Also, is my iTunes supposed to be running when jailbreaking or do I only have to connect and run Spirit?
