Is there a way to patch the exploit after installing the jailbreak? Because the way I see it, if this exploit isn't patched, other people could take advantage of the flaw and exploit our devices.

    LOL!
That could be an awesome way to force people to jailbreak XD
Comex will publish his source code for the exploit, and his jailbreak with patch it, so any device which is not jailbroken could get viruses easily until the next update!
This will make Apple stop saying all those things about how the jailbreak is dangerous...

Wait the exploit is not patched when it is jailbroken? Or can we just change the root password and be ok?

Isnt it a Safari exploit that is used also? Maybe I'm wrong, but that's the way I see it.

Just delete safari ;P LOLZ! not ;P
(although if you are THAT paranoid, it's not a bad idea, since you can use Opera as default with a mod on Cydia)

No that's not the case at all... right now, only the iPhone Developers understand how the exploits work... so you don't really have anything to worry about.
