Is it possible to get the songs to convert to AAC once they're on your iPod? I dont' want to convert to AAC and THEN put them on my ipod because that would just take up more space.

Why not get them FROM the iPod to your computer, convert, then remove the MP3 one you have. It'll sync the AAC and remove the MP3.

You can directly rip the CD to AAC format. As for downloaded MP3's, same deal.
