I have a 2G itouch, and when I was running on 2.2.1 I had no wifi issues, strong signal, fast downloading. Now that I have upgraded to 3.1.2 my itouch wifi is very slow. I have reset my wifi setting, and still running slow. anyone have any tips that will help? .. I have Qwest wireless throughout my house, and my computers, and Xbox's never have any lag, but why now with the 3.1.2. firmware?

    Damn, I need a Drink!

I blamed wifi issues on bluetooth. Don't know how true this is, but the 3.0 update made the wifi chip into a bluetooth one as well. Thats what i heard so i blame it on that.

our 2.1.1 Touch works nicely, our 3.1 doesn't. we were hoping the new firmware update would fix wi-fi, but it hasn't.

the problem is the new software in the firmware isn't too compatible with existing wifi software systems.
