    Hey,
Is there a way to close an app completely?
So, if I press the home-button to go back to the main screen the app is still open (in the background) and I have to close the app always by pushing the home-button twice and close it afterwards.

How can I close an App without clicking the home-button twice and close it in the manager?

You could disable multitasking or install activator and make one home button command quit an application ex triple tap.

Thanks. But a real solution is not mentioned there.
    Unfortunately.

Triple tap would be nerving as well.
Standard should be - as said in the thread - that the app is closed when pressing the home-button.
And running in background when double-clicking the icon or something like that...

How can I disable multitasking without jailbreaking it?

You can use sbsettings to open processes and close the app.
    But that too requires jailbreaking.

And if you use activator, you can set up whatever button combination you want.
But again, you have to jailbreak for that

I don't know if this closes the app completely but anyways

double click the home button, other apps you have been using now appear below, touch for 2 seconds the icon of the app you want to close, it will now wiggle with a minus sign above, (just like when organizing or uninstalling apps) click the minus sign and it will no longer appear there unless you start that app again.

The official method (no jailbreak necessary) works like it did before which is the following:

When you are in the app that you want to kill completely,

    1) Hold the sleep/power button in until you see the "slide to power off"
    2) Let go of the sleep/power button (dont slide... duh)
    3) Hold the Home button until it closes the app.

The previous method works well too, but this will kill even a frozen app.
