Is there a way you can put like some type of filter when someone tries to create a new thread for example:
Lets say someone wants to make a thread about their ipod being bricked, they type in the tittle and everything and than once they click post it gives them a message saying "A similar thread like this has been created" ??
It's getting really annoying seeing the same threads over and over.

Notice: When you enter a thread title the system will search for similar threads which have already been posted. That should help you to find answers.

Doesn't work for me though lol

Yeah you start typing a thread title and a list of previous threads with the same words show up.

Yea but honestly that's the same thing as searching no one uses it, they see a similar thread created yet they create another one either way, what I am talking about prevents them from creating the thread in the first place.
Come on you guys can't tell me your not tired of seeing "help i bricked my itouch" over and over and over.

There is already a feature that does this. It auto-searches for your thread's title words and returns similar results. Bad grammar, etc, doesn't do much good for this though, it screws up the search.

And this would be a vbul plugin, not something the mods could do.
