    Hi.
Last night after I restored my iPod touch 2G back to original firmware and I found that the text ("iPod" at the upper left corner) I changed with makeitmine during jailbroken state is still there. I thought everything would change back to factory default after restore. It may gone after next restore but I don't know. I have already reboot the ipod several times and it still persist there.

I'm pretty not sure but could this become an exploit to make permanent jailbreak ?

See the below screen shot I attached.

No, that is another piece on information that backups keep. You need to put it into DFU mode, and restore, and start new. I don't know how many times, you people need to be told, but either don't backup while you are jailbroken, or make a seperate backup.

Hmm.. I see. Well, I like it actually lol.

Of course I put to DFU mode, do the restore but I restore the backups since I have saved games, notes and links etc.
