I think someone who is used to Pwnage should make a firmware with the things everyone uses:

    Installer (no sh*t)
    SSH
    BSD Subsystem Edit* Can't
    January Update
    Download Plugin
    Mobilechat/Apollo
    SummberBoard Edit* Can't
    Customize
    Bosstool
    Bossprefs
    NES
    GBA
    SNES
Some good sources, not in community sources

Thats just my idea of what people usually download first, what do you guys think?

Also, you should have titled "A Standard for CUSTOM 1.1.4 Firmware"

As right now it only works on 1.1.4.

I think a startup video would be frickin awesome, like the one that shows when you first crank up leopard... but that can't happen in the boot time.

Why do people even care what their Boot Up / Restore Mode logo is?

Really, do you people actually Shut Down your iPod and Turn it back on on a Daily Basis?

I actually don't care, considering I don't have a mac, so this is just me sharing a simple suggestion.
I think its cool to be different than that boring white apple. @Chris, i don't think you can do a video for startup.

and no, I don't turn on and off my ipod ona regular basis.

Out of curiosity, whats the startup for leopard?

When you turn on a Mac, there is no special boot up. Just a Grey Apple with a Grey Background.

Considering it takes Mac OS X 1 - 5 seconds to fully boot up, there is no use for a Boot Screen.
