Hi to all, i have a question for you.

A friend of mine recently bought an ipod touch, and since he had not a wifi connection, he decided to buy a wifi router and add it to his network. Now he has the wifi router connected to the normal router that holds his network, and his ipod can connect to internet fine.

He tried to use "remote" applicazione, following this guide, but when he click on add library he don't get the code screen, nor he can find that new icon in itunes. I think it is because the second router creates another network, that is separated from the one on wich the pc running itunes is.

So my question is, what's the easiest way to solve the problem? Should he try connecting his pc lan cable directly to the wifi router, instead of the other old router? Or maybe should he change the wifi router with a wifi access point? Thanks in advance for the help

Yes, he should have his computer hooked up to the router the iPod is connected to.
