A plethora of problems that started when the 3.0 update was released

Ever since the 3.0 update was released, I have started to have problems with my ipod. This may be because I have only recently started using our wireless router (previously we only had a wired connection), but this is rather suspicious timing.

    Problem #1:

After some use of the wifi (WPA-2), I lose the connection and must forget the network and rejoin to continue use.

    Problem #2:

If I leave and start using another wifi connection that is password protected, once I rejoin my original network, I must reset the network settings to rejoin (I am 100% sure the password is correct).

    Problem #3:

This may or may not be a glitch, but if I cancel my sync, all videos and music on my ipod are deleted. However, my apps remain...

Can anyone help me with these problems? Is Apple deliberately forcing those of us who don't feel like updating to endure software glitches? None of these happened before this update.
