A Passcode Locked iPod

    I bought an iPod Touch for 60$

    knowing that it was passcode locked on accident with noone knowing the actual code. Justa making sure you can easily fix this by DFUing right?

    Yes, just DFU Restore and you're good to go.

    To answer the question, yeah a simple dfu and restore should do the job.

    well, if he did buy it, he's not the one who stole it if it was stolen.
    But for $60, I'd assume it was stolen.

    He could just say he bought it, ot saying he stole it, but people can type anything lol

    My point is, that if the one who has his iPod stolen report that to apple and tell them the serial code of the iPod (which can be found on the box), I am pretty sure that they can do something and deactivate some things there as soon as he connects it to the computer / connects to a wi-fi.

    Ok guys chill out.. I bought this iPod off of craigslist from a guy who says his friend left it for him.. and they dont know the passcode. "kind of weird but w/e" BUT I am legemeitaly paying 50$ for this iPod so Im not doing anything bad. (O BTW I just asked him to lower the price 10$ cus i had to drive an hour to ge there. LOL

    Also the iPod is in mint condition and the reason he is selling it for so cheap is cus its locked..
