These questions seem to be a rarity these days.

I don't watch youtube videos all that often, but I just noticed a problem last night. The videos I do watch never load all the way. They go to about 3/4 of the way, then stop.

I am jailbroken, and I have a relatively strong wi-fi signal.

I had the exact same problem for a while.. I thought i had a dodgy ipod it was that bad.. just recently though I was changing my router settings and it's been great ever since.. no problems..

Just try all diffrent router settings till you get it working good..

hmmm. do I have to open up a certain port or something? that wouldn't make sense though, because then ipods/iphones would be able to access other wifi very well.

No you dont have to open up any ports.. It was changing router channel in wireless settings that got it working good here

YouTube has been like that since 2.1 and its really annoying. I've tried it on 3G, EDGE, Rogers Hotspot, and of course, my home router and they all have the same slow speed.
