    Hi friends..

Its my first post here..Last week I bought a new ipod touch 32GB from apple..
I downloaded many applications from app-store..

    Its a very basic question
Can i unlock/Jail break my ipode touch 3G/32GB now?

What is the benefit of doing that (since apple app-store itself giving 25000 applications)..

After jail breaking can I connect itunes and use it as I am doing before..

Yes, you can jailbreak your iPod Touch using Blackra1n. The main benefit of jailbreaking is having full control of your device. So you can do alot more with it, such as theming, running background apps, and general modding.

All a jailbreak does is allow access to the /root partition, so iTunes can freely interact with your library as it always has. If you don't want to be jailbroken anymore, this can be reversed with a simple restore in iTunes.

    Hope I helped

that was a great help..it cleared 90% of my question..thanks alot..

    I went to http://www.blackra1n.com/

a dilogue made me confuse to use it or not.. "Warning 3g and 3gs unlockers, do not upgrade to 3.1.2 using iTunes if you want to keep your unlock. Baseband cannot be downgraded. Check out the dev team's offerings. Also blackra1n doesn't hacktivate."

My software is 3.1.2 ..so can i jailbreak it ?

After jail breaking wat shall i do? can u suggest some interesting ideas..or applications to install..

You can jailbreak. That will not be a problem for you, as that is for the iPhone 3G/3GS. You have the iPod touch. Go for it.

Some apps... Winterboard, SBSettings, and plenty of others. Just pick and choose!

Installing packages through Cydia is easy, simply browse as you would (it's similar to the AppStore in this respect), and when you find the package you want, tap "Install" on the top left, then "confirm".

Most, if not all, packages you'll find are free. A small handful require purchasing, but they're mostly under $5.

Some more reccomended packages: Backgrounder, Five Icon Dock, gpSPhone, GRiP and YouRTube

Is Blackra1n still only tethered with ipt3, or is it now untethered?

It's still only tethered, I think. The blackra1n RC2's release added one notable thing: the support for MC models, but maybe I overlooked something.

I recomend using Rock. It's faster and more organized then Cydia.
