im a bit late to the 1.1.2 scene, i know, and i really could find the answer readily availible without some lengthy thread searching, and i'm sure one of you can answer thing in like 30 seconds. simple question: upgrading 1.1.2 with the whole oktoprep thing- what does it delete besides apps? does that include everything that the /var/root/library and /var/root/media directories? i.e. roms, themes, etc. i dont expect it to delete my songs and whatnot, but who knows. And yes, i really didnt feel like looking for this.

also, some sort of spinning wheel thing, what? i've been spending too much time in the themes forum..

You have to start clean, sorry
so have 1.1.1 jailbreak it install oktoprep..then update in itunes..it will eras everything...
    including the installer icon..
    then follow the touchfree process..
but if i was u i'll just stick with what i have, why update, some say theres no difference

and the spining wheel of death SWOD, is what happened to me when i upgraded to 1.1.2, but jusr restore 1.1.2 and it should be gone...sorry if i didnt help you out
