Ok so i have a very interesting story to share with you guys. I was at the willowbrook mall in Houston Tx with a couple of my buddies and i came across something very strange. I was messing with one of the iPod Touches and noticed a couple of weird things about it. First i noticed that the carrier logo did not say iPod like they usually do but it said "Apple"**cough cough** makeitmine.Second there was no way to delete the apps on it. Like when you hold an app down and they wiggle. I tried that, nothing happened. Third, i looked at the battery on the top right and it was gone. There was only a percentage battery number and thats it. I was just sitting there like what the hell? Could it really be? Was there really a jailbroken ipod touch at none other than the apple store?

interesting, I've never been to an Apple store but it could be one that was returned and they didn't wipe it due to laziness.

I couldn't delete applications on the iPod at my Apple Store, either.

I looked at some of them, and they said (in the application) that they were specially designed to be used publicly at an Apple Store. Those iPods are probably "special" iPods that are only used for showing off.

At my local Apple store the iPods are hooked up to Macbooks on a kind-of display. I went in last week and checked the firmare version of one of the iPods ---> 3.1.2...*evil grin*.
So I downloaded blackra1n on the Macbook and ran it, put Cydia on the first springboard page and left the store. Hopefully one of the "geniuses" their works out what to do with it.
Next time i'm in the area i'll check to see if it's still there.
