make sure you set them to 755, it normally seems to be the problem with everyones :)

Except I can run them via ssh and they work fine.
Just don't show up on springboard.
Do I need to anything to springboard?

ls -al shows appropriate permissions on all folders in Applications

    in ssh : chmod -Rf 755 *

that means change force recursive change of permission of all (*) files to 755.

but if i enter chmod -R a+x /Applications/* in Terminal I always get glob6: not found. If I enter chmod -Rf 755 * I get the same.

And if I enter chmod -R a+x /Applications/MobileNotes.app (for example) I get chmod: not found

    Permissions are fine.
Do I need the springboard hack or pogo stick for apple apps to show up?

Oh, how simple. One needs pogo stick.

Hey... isn't it just possible to put maps, stocks, mail, and notes in installer.app list? Justo to connect to WiFi and download 'em directly to my iPoT without all that hard process of transferrin them from my PC?
