A Great Moded Version Of Customize!!!

    ive tried all the chmods but i cant get it to work. it crashes to home screen right when i open it. ive rebooted, resprung and clicked the icon about 20 times. help....

    cp -R /private/var/root/Media /private/var/mobile/

    rm -r /private/var/root/Media

    OK...one of the 2 commands above screws up my 2 Ipod's.

    Each time I run one of the above commands, Itunes no longer recognizes my Ipod and I get a missing pairing record error.

    If I do not run these commands, I can still get Customize to work.

    So why are these needed?

    DOES not work

    i did what you said app run than crashes BUT it does IT EVERY TIME

    i ran it about 20 times in a row and it didn't change, everything is in right folders and everything is 755

    That seems like way to many commands to fix a simple problem. The most I have ever used is three and now only use one. I'm no unix expert but those don't even sem to relate the the issue.

    Sounds like a permissions problem. SSH into your iPod and navigate to the /Applications directory
    and run
    Then bounce over to your /Library directory
    and run
    Don't worry, if you have symlinks then navigating to the directory will automatically bounce you to wherever they point. This should fix the problem with Customize crashing immediately after opening. If it delays for a few seconds and then crashes that means it's doing the normal directory creations, so keep trying to open it.

    ok i have a proble when i try to d/l the first link it is busy and the first rapid share link says the file is gone and when i d/l the second rapid share link can d/l it but it goes t an internet explorer page and keeps asking me to open or save it again ne help??????????

    Danimator and I have worked on setting up a better repository on my server that will fix the permissions (and crashing) issues. We'll release it soon.

    I don't want to impose, but are there any new news about your release? Can we expect within the next couple of days? Looks very promising. I hope you are able to hide applications with it.
