I read that the iPod Touch does not feature a weather and email app. But if it has the Safari browser, which should be a full featured browser just like any PC/Mac, couldn't you just check your email through safari on yahoo.com or something? And couldn't you just look at weather on weather.com? Also, is it possible to use AIM express thru safari? Typically it just launches a smaller browser window and starts it up that way, is it possible to do that in safari? Thx.

yes you can check your email and weather using those sites. And I believe you can kinda use aim express. The missing appz just make it easier for you to do those things.

I might sell my video nano to my boss at the end of the month and get the touch. I was a bit impatient and got the video nano (which btw is amazing) but now I got alot more $$$ and want a touch badly lol.

Sure, you can check all your email using webmail, but I for one am really glad I put the mail app on my Touch. Checking my five email addresses (all for different purposes) in Safari would be.. well, no fun.

Can Safari Display Flash animations? Could I go on www.newgrounds.com and watch their flash cartoons?

So what happens when I go to a webpage and theres say some kind of flash based advertisement on the side or top of the page? Does it come out as a blank field? Or give you ugly error messages?
