I really, really hope this is good. I constantly getting typos with Swype

I also hope it's not like the Macbook Wheel.

It's not currently in the Android market.

EDIT: It's going to be released tomorrow.

The 8pen looks tricky to use at first but looks damn cool! I doubt it will ever fade out the traditional QWERTY setup.

Sounds interesting... I think it might be a difficult transition from QWERTY though...

I have an Android device so I'll try it anyway. I still think Graffiti for early Palm OS devices was a really good way of inputting text. However, I have no problem typing on the iOS keyboard, even in portrait.

So now instead of just a single tap, you get to ...

    1. Tap
    2. Drag your finger around
    3. Return to the starting point
    4. Hope you did it right

lol just kidding. It's probably pretty cool once you get used to it.

It'll never work. HUGE learning curve, and even after the initial learning is done I don't think anyone will be able to go as fast as the animated finger in the video. Maybe that's why they didn't have an actual person demonstrate it...

Couldn't they create an app kinda like ShapeWriter for Swype?
