    Hey guys,
I have an 8gig iPod Touch with the latest 2.0.1 firmware, and I have been trying to pwn it with winpwn 2.0.0.4 and have had no luck!

I keep getting the same errors: 1601, 1602 and sometimes 6.

I know this happens to a lot of people and there are many hits on google, but none of them help me in anyway.

I have a unique edition of Windows that has all the sounds removed from the OS installation (for performance sake), so solutions that require me to unplug when I hear the USB connection sound windows makes, I can't quite do it. Plus, doesn't sound like it works.

    Any ideas?

ps. Whatever happened to ZiPhone. Is there a version that will jailbreak 2.0.1?

    Thanks!

You don't need to hear any sound, maybe in DFU mode you do but you can just look at it instead. More info?

I just pwned my iPod touch the other day, and it's 8GB. It's probably just your computer.

I was getting simillar errors. The solution to this problem is DFU mode. Then again DFU "not" Recovery Mode.

It was fine the way it was =) ( btw, it's actually - ZiPhone on 1.X or 2.X = Epic Fail =p) Anyways you cannot pwn on 2.X you must:

    Downgrade to iTunes 7.5

Put iPod in DFU and restore to 1.1.4

    PWN

    Upgrade iTunes to 7.7.1

Restore to a 2.0 or 2.0.1 custom IPSW

    There ya go
