im using the ziphone method on my 8GB ipod touch. it worked once but i had to restore after numerous glithes, due to user/operator error. XP

so now i have a question. using the exact same methods on all ziphone versions my ipod goes into the proper scripts and such but always stops at a command

    "spamming AT, waiting for response"

what is this, and is there anyway to fix taht? im really just more curious as to what it is, and why its doing that.

Restore your iPod Touch. Read the first link in my Signature.

You checked something related to the iPhone; probably activation or unlock.
Restore and only check jailbreak and verbose, if it still exists.
I use ZiPhone 1.0 because I don't want a crappy WebClip, plus it doesn't have a ramdisk integrity check.

Hi, I have the same problem but I'm sure that I checked only things related to iPod Touch. But the procces still stopping on the

    Downgrading bootloader....
    geohot´s 112 otb unlocker ...
patched to work with virgin bootloaders

    Opened: /dev/tty.debug
Spamming AT, waiting for a response

    And that's all. I have 1.1.3 fw.
So could it be something else than that I checked bad box in ZiPhone?

Same thing here. I've always gotten this error no matter what. Yes, I'm smart enough to know I'm using a iPod Touch and to select ONLY the JailBreak button.
I've read all about how this is great, yet so far all I've seen from it is crap. And the response from the author seems the same bowl of soup.

Yeah, mine hangs here everytime. I even tried command line, with just the -j option, with ziphone version 2.0, 2.4, and 2.5, all end the same way. Has never worked a single time.
