I have a few choices. I've been offered $110 for a 1st Gen 8GB, and $150 for a 16GB 1st Gen. Should I take one of these (If so, which one?), or should I just save up for a third gen. I had (and lived just fine with) a 2nd Gen 8GB iPod Touch. My house was robbed, and it was taken, among other things, but that's really beside the point, stupid me. Anyway, I have 6.5GB of music, and although I'll be using apps, I managed just fine with my old 8GB.

So, any suggestions? I'm really into the processor and RAM upgrade in the 3rd Gen, and would really like to have one when they're utilized to their full potential. =]

If I do end up taking one of the offers I wanted to give it to my brother, and buy a 3rd gen near Christmas. I'm going to be giving my brother an iPod Touch, regardless of what I choose, it's just a matter of which order.

Is it really THAT good? I could find absolutely no problem with the 2nd Gen, even with 7.5GB. It was a little tight, but I survived.

I just want to know, will I REALLY notice the difference in speed? That's about the only difference between the two, from what I can see. Because $150 for 16GB, or $300 for 32GB, is the way I see it. Maybe I just haven't been enlightened yet. :0

I can REALLY notice a speed difference, better graphics, games run smoother and there is even voice control. 32gb is only $280 on Walmarts website.
