    when u jailbreak does it erase all your music ???

    if you want everything to work normally, then yes all your music will be gone.

    if you want things to be a little messed up, then just upgrade your firmware. it will still work but there will be some problems.

    But the whole 2 hours you'll spend re-syncing it will be awful.

    Jailbreaking isn't worth it

    oh ok its cuz i bought some music from another computer and i dont have it on mine so i dont want to sync it and i dont have another way to get it back along with movies.. can i transfer my music and videos to my computer????? how>????

    There are applications for the iPod that will do this. Search google.

    You can also transfer your library of music and videos to another computer via a ipod with a disk drive or a large external HDD.
