There's a new app on Cydia called 7x7 Springboard. This app has some potential. I've seen it work on a friend's ipod and liked it. So I downloaded it on mine, expecting a new springboard, but it threw my iPod into an infinite boot loop. I panicked and immediately thought of restoring it. BUT! I'm here to let you know that you do not HAVE to restore it! No, while your iPod has gone through its first attempt at booting, you will have access to it's core files through iPhoneBrowser! Under [root], go to /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries/ In there there will be a file called 7x7SpringBoard.dylib or something like that. Just delete it, wait for your iPhone or iPod Touch to try and boot again, and it'll start up in safe-mode. Respring, go into cydia and delete the rest of the files. And your iPhone is running like before!!
