I reviewed your other topics concerning this .. but my issue is a little different. My 14g 1st generation tells me I have 7 gigs of video when I have notihing on the unit. I have re-synced a number of times and even moved off shows into other media ...but its still there.
I go into settings on my touch and it says i have 5 videos .. then when i go into video .. it flashes 5 movies that I have rented .. and as quickly as it flashes they flip off (delete ) from the screen. When i go back into settings again .. it reads 0 videos ... hmmm.
Do i have to do a restore .. i have all my apps and purchases on my pc in itunes ..
    thanks in advance .. d-mo

    Well ...

sorry .. that didnt work .. still have the 7 gigs of video ..
could this be an issue with the self deleting files itunes sends with their movie videos? ..

it might be because they are rented movies. cause rented ones expire after a while. so that might be it. I would just restore if I was you.

    yepppers ....

    thanks everyone ..
had to go the full 9yrds and do the restore ... all is well.
thanks much for the responses .. and info.
I really think we have a problem with self-deleteing videos from itunes .. as my "pod" was basically virgin with all apps and music either loaded from origional disk or itunes itself ...
to apple? ... take heed and fix this silly problem..

thanks to all that responded ..
