I have the 5x5x5 icons and i can move them the way I want them, but every time I sync it to iTunes, it messes it up because iTunes will only work with 4x4x4 so now I have all these blank spots and extra pages and its so annoying having to re do it every time. does anyone know of a way to disable this "feature" or fix it so I can actually use it. Looks nice, but I can't stand 4x4x4...lol

I second your request... It annoys me that my 5 dock is only 4 I sync it gets messed up.

Well, I have the PogoPlank Springboard UI enabled, but when it is disabled I have 5x5x5.
I noticed that when I sync with PogoPlank enabled, itunes ignores 5x5x5 so when i disable PogoPlank, 5x5x5 is still there.
This may not be something you want to do since PogoPlank costs money, but its sort of a fix

springback... It lets you keep backups of your springboard arrangement so after you sync just restore from a backup. The only thing is that if you restore to a backup with and app is no longer on your ipod it may need a restore.

Ah, yes! I forgot about that app - I used to use it all the time.
I guess I can use that and just do a backup/restore every time I sync.
